I could see how he would be a suspect, but given his mental state I don’t think he had the capacity to be quiet or stealthy enough to pull it off. I watched an incredible documentary about this case years ago that really stuck with me. Their conclusion is that Jon Benet’s brother Burke did it. He had a troubling past with his sister and would exhibit outbursts once hitting her in the head with a golf club. The autopsy report claims she was struck with a blow to the head first. I truly believe the siblings were again quarreling which lead to a tragic event and a cover up by the parents to protect their son and it was done so in a panic. They had been living in a life style at the time where image was everything. As for her sexual assault, they couldn’t accurately determine that in the autopsy. There was no semen found. I suggest watching Case of: Jon Benet Ramsey a docuseries.
The suspicion surrounding JonBenét's murder has been compounded by the accusations of suspicious behavior levied against all individuals implicated in the case.
It's not really about the sadistic murder of a little girl. It's about Justin Shepherd's great career as an unprincipled -- and WRONG -- internet crime reporter. Who cares?
Why don't you write a real story, a courageous story about the ways the Ramseys have evaded prosecution and justice? Aren't you aware that the grand jury voted unanimously to indict them both for child abuse resulting in death AND child endangerment resulting in death? But because the corrupt DA imposed a gag order and covered it up, you're not interested? Because you're a coward. So instead you just publish a libelous cluster of innuendo and lies to aid and abet the sinister Ramseys with a rehashed smearjob of the innocent fall guy they've despicable abused for three decades after I was cleared by police. But don't worry, it's not really about the sadistic murder of a little girl.
I voluntarily gave Boulder Police my DNA, a lengthy handwriting sample and hair sample in early 1998.
In 1999 a Boulder grand jury voted to indict John and Patsy Ramsey for child endangerment resulting in death. But the compromised DA sealed the vote, imposed a gag order, and pretended it never happened.
There is incriminating evidence against the Rameys in those sealed grand jury documents that remains sealed to this day.
Do you care what happened to that little girl or do you just want to play a malicious global internet game of Clue?
I never have and never would act in any vigilante way to make a political point. Which highlights another total red herring in the phony "intruder theory," that apparently you're willing to swallow. Why take it out on a little girl?
You spent alot of space barking up the wrong tree. I had garden variety Liberal views. Had, past tense. The truth about it is how my former girlfriend, who I loved, confused and conflated in her mind how she felt hurt by me for breaking up and the abuse suffered by JonBenet. Because my former girlfriend says she was a sexually abused child too. The only reason I was questioned at all was bc she went to the police with a false claim that I was gone that night, a claim that she has categorically, explicitly denied in a video interview on DM in March.
Is this representative of the integrity of sub stack? This is a hearsay roundup of ten, twenty and thirty year-old JonBenet memes, most of them false, inuendo at best and clearly libelous. There's a reason why I have "flown under the radar" -- because there's ZERO evidence against me, because I didn't have anything to do with it. I never heard of JonBenet Ramsey until she was already dead. I was home asleep all night the night of Dec. 25-26, 1996. I've never harmed anyone, never broke into anyone's house. This story is a desperate attempt at journalism at my great expense to the point of persecution. There are real suspects in this case and they couldn't be happier with your piece, Mr. Shepherd.
Interesting that their are suspects and the police don't follow up, it seems. The detective saying Dilson was "unstable". If Wolf acted like she says he did that would explain it.
I don’t think I could be any less interested in a murder than I am with who killed this child. I find the mystery of the Princes in the Tower far more mysterious and actually important to the history of Great Britain than this story about a trivial American family with screwy values. I would have blocked it but I wanted to put up this note.

Justin Shepherd can add his name to the disgraced company of the Ramsey sycophants who are all parties to the coverup of the murder of a child.
Congratulations!
I hope somebody falsely accuses you of a horrible crime all over the internet someday.

That family had been to hell and back. Thanks for your excellent article.
Viable suspect
I didn't follow the case closely at the time, but I'm quite intrigued!! I think Wolf is definitely a viable suspect.
Excellent article! I’m really liking Substack! Wish you’d do more here!
